6 Dental Offices That Show How Design Impacts Patients

Clinical and procedural innovations aren’t the only changes impacting the dental patient experience. Browsing dental office images shows us that design and ergonomic innovation is also enhancing how patients respond to dentistry.

Design standards can begin to blend into the “woodwork” – so to speak. What was once an innovative or stylish tweak to an otherwise sterile, clinical environment might now go unnoticed. Familiarity creates a need for freshness.

Dental office design has taken on a more “high-touch,” “human” feel. Available dental office images or a relevant search will verify that decor and design are a strong influence on the overall patient experience.

SIX DENTAL OFFICE IMAGES THAT HIGHLIGHT THE POWER OF DESIGN ON PATIENT EXPERIENCE

1. Bright, Colorful, and Illuminating Dental Offices

Paint is a default fix for transforming a space. That said, it’s essential to go with colors that not only “pop” but also create a mood general feel.

Brightness with bold accents remains a trend leader. Seek colors that invigorate and match your practice theme.

Lighting and the fixtures that frame it are also an essential mood-setter. Natural lighting that brings the outdoors inside your reception and clinical areas can lift an otherwise sterile feeling environment.

2. Entertaining, Engaging, and Themed Dental Offices

A themed dental office design helps relax patients. There’s an appeal for children, families, and adults when they are drawn into your space via entertaining elements.

Entertainment can be framed in a variety of ways.

  • A themed movie area/room.
  • Television monitors above treatment room chairs.
  • Interactive decor and gaming areas.

Engagement and theming also personalizes your dental office environment.

  • Highlight local artists and their artwork (e.g. paintings, ceramic designs, etc).
  • Feature artwork from local or area students.
  • Build out your design around common or popular themes that are fun, child/family-centric, and inviting.

3. Open and Minimalist Dental Offices

An open treatment area helps create psychological “air” for patients. This stands in contrast to the traditional, closed-off, isolated layout.

Minimal design features allow for lighting enhancements and help prevent the space from feeling closed in. Openness allows for breathing room so patients feel more in common with the environment.

4. Comfortable, Relaxed, and Homey Dental Offices

Rows of chairs and stacks of magazines on reception area tables have been a design standard for years. Contrast that with carefully spaced comfortable chairs, a warm fireplace, flat screen tv monitors, a pub-table workspace, and self-serve amenities.

Patients who feel at home are more likely to stay loyal and refer others.

5. Posh, Unique, and Trendy Dental Offices

Glam or posh design doesn’t have to feel stuffy or uncomfortable. It’s more about creating an appeal that perhaps is more suited to your upscale patient base.

Urban or trendy suburban dental offices can attract and retain patients with a design that represents the demographic you serve.

A unique design footprint helps distinguish your dental office from the templated, every-practice look and feel. Again, theming, colors, and decor that is appropriate to your specific demographic will help enhance the patient experience for your unique practice culture.

6. Kid and Family-friendly Dental Offices

Anxiety in children is a common reason for designing around a theme. Kid-friendly theming helps pediatric patients relax before, during, and after their appointment(s).

A child-centric environment also helps parents/adults feel supported in their child’s dental care. Themed amenities create positive anticipation ahead of each dental visit.

These dental office images are a cross-section of intentional design strategies. The essence of each is that they appeal to your particular dental niche and demographic – creating an engaging, long-term patient experience.

Upgrade your dental office design and improve your patient experience.

Take your patient care and engagement to new levels. You’ll stand out from other service providers when you provide a unique dental experience that’s influenced by your design choices.

  • Reduce patient anxiety and enhance their relaxation
  • Prime patients and families for their appointments
  • Create positive dental care experiences

Maintain your edge in the crowded dental service space. Attention to design details can transform your environment and the overall patient experience.

  • Create “buzz” in the community you serve
  • Accelerate patient referrals
  • Generate positive online reviews

FAQ About Covid-19 and Keeping Your Theming Clean

Preventing the spread of germs and limiting common touchpoints is a hot topic right now. Luckily, IDS theming is easier to keep clean than you may think! Not only are our products perfectly suited to regular cleaning in a clinical setting, but they are resistant to fading and scuffing.

FAQ ABOUT COVID-19 AND KEEPING YOUR THEMING CLEAN

Easy to Clean 3D Products

Regular soap and water solution is all you need to clean our products – which also neutralizes the Coronavirus! It’s really that easy. Check out the video to see the science behind the destructive virus-killing power of soap.

If you need to sanitize your products beyond what soap can do, we have also tested a variety of medical-grade cleaners such as ED Everyday DisinfectantCavicide, and a bleach & water solution with no damage to our products.

Regardless of what cleaning product you may use, we want you to have confidence that your creations from IDS will stay looking fresh for a long time. We always recommend cleaning with a damp sponge or cloth and a light touch (no scrubbing required here!)

Easy to Clean Wall Murals

Wall murals are just as easy to clean as a regular painted wall. Again, no special cleaning supplies are necessary. Gently spot clean messes or high traffic areas with soap and water using a soft sponge or cloth.

Our selection of I Spy Murals offers hands-free entertainment in the form of a scavenger hunt! Each mural comes with a list of items hidden within the scenery, just waiting to be uncovered. It is a great way to capture a child’s imagination, and parents appreciate that they don’t need to resort to screen time to keep the kiddos occupied.

Our I Spy Murals have seen a burst in popularity in hospital treatment rooms as a great solution to keep kids entertained while providing hands-free fun and colorful decor in an otherwise drab space.

COVID-19 protocols can make appointments feel scary and cause additional stress in children during dental and medical visits. In stressful times like today, it is more important than ever to keep kids calm and distracted while visiting the doctor or dentist. Theming is a proven strategy to help keep pediatric patients occupied, displacing treatment anxiety. Call today with any more questions about IDS theming: 1-888-884-4102.

FAQ: How Can IDS Help Solve Common Hospital Design Challenges

How Theming Creates the Ultimate Brand for Your Business

Dr. Michael Lateiner Interview: Adding Theming to Increase Profitability and Patient Satisfaction

One of the main benefits of IDS office theming is how it can help you grow your business faster. IDS has themed over 300 offices and more than 30% of our clients have come back to theme a second (or third, or seventh) additional office. Theming has brought them success and allowed them to expand, adding more theming or opening additional locations. This is the story of one of those successful clients.

“In 5 years we became a multi-million dollar office and we attribute a huge amount of our success to IDS.”

Small Start – Big Results

In 2010, Dr. Michael Lateiner came to IDS to add theming to the reception area in his small dental office. His goal was to create a fun space for his patients and to increase the number of patients the practice saw. Focusing on the reception area, he began with a few murals, desk cladding, and a children’s play area.

iDr. Lateiner knew his theming was a great way to connect with kids, but he didn’t yet realize its true potential; his office now had a competitive edge that was memorable, shareable, and drew in kids and parents alike.

Stage 1 of theming in 2010.

Expanding in Popularity

The popularity of Dr. Lateiner’s themed office grew over the next 5 years, increasing his profits and giving him the funds necessary to take over the neighboring office space. He removed the adjoining wall and expanded his treatment area and the reception to make room for even more patients.

With a newly expanded space, Dr. Lateiner was ready for additional theming to help further grow his practice. In 2016 IDS added murals, a photo op, a themed brushing station, and even theming in the x-ray room – more than double what had been installed years before.

Stage 2 of theming – expanding into a larger floor space.

“We hoped IDS theming would provide a 10X return on our investment and, well, our expectations have been exceeded.”

Doubling Down on Theming

In 2017, only a year after Dr. Lateiner’s previous project, he and his wife, Dr. Gloria Fulman, began construction on a new office. They immediately contacted IDS to plan a fully themed office.

“We were so happy with the results from our first office that we had the confidence to open a second one. This time we gave IDS complete creative freedom.”

Concept sketch drawn by the IDS Team.

IDS created travel themed decor, featuring caricatures of a young Michael and Gloria adventuring around the world. Extensive murals, photo ops, and brushing stations transformed this office into a kid-friendly environment that parents and patients love.

“Patients come into the office and are immediately comfortable. The parents can’t stop taking pictures.”

New office installation.

“IDS has the whole package. Their creations help make our patients comfortable, happy, and excited to visit us. This, in turn, creates happy parents who are now more willing to bring their children regularly. The end results allow us to provide better dental care to our patients while ensuring the practice grows profitably.”

Pediatric Dental Office Design: Why Every Practice Needs a Fun Brushing Station

Patterson Today Features an IDS Underwater Office

One of our underwater themed clients was featured in Patterson Today, an online publication by Patterson Dental. The article does a great job of showing off their impressive new office!

Here’s an expert from the article where Dr. Healy of Tiny Teeth Pediatric Dentistry talks about the undersea theme we created for this amazing office:

As many doctors are doing with new spaces, Healy wanted to create a practice that didn’t feel sterile. He wanted it to be a fun place where both parents and children could feel comfortable and excited about dental care. Ultimately, it got him more excited about dental care, too.

“You’ll catch me out there playing with the kids more than I probably should be,” he said, laughing. “You have to think like a kid sometimes. So often, kids go to a doctor’s office and it’s not very inviting. Naturally, you know how they’re going to feel. They’re going to be anxious when they come to the back.”

“To give the illusion of being underwater, the walls of the practice are covered in murals with waves and sea life, and there’s even a pirate ship. The results have been amazing,” Healy said. “People often come in for their appointment, and then come in again the next day to take a picture. It’s worked to help keep his patients happy, and their parents engaged.”

“As a parent, if my kid really likes going somewhere, I’m going to keep taking my kid there,”

“I’ve had a lot of patients that drive by and see it and they say, ‘My son or daughter wants to come here because of seeing this.’ It’s a built–in advertisement of what services I have to offer, and if you have something that no one else has, people want to come there.”

Congrats to the whole team at Tiny Teeth Pediatric Dentistry. Read the rest of the article from Patterson Today

10 Questions We Have Heard from New IDS Clients

There’s no doubt that an IDS-themed office makes appointments more fun for your young patients, creates an environment in which your team will enjoy working, and fast-tracks the growth of your practice… so, what’s holding you back?

We get it – you likely have some questions about what to expect and how it all works. Fear not – here are answers to the ten most common questions and reservations we hear from new clients.

1. How much will it cost?

All of our themed elements are custom-built, therefore prices vary depending on design, scope, and complexity. The size and position a 3D character is sculpted in will change the price, so if you see an example of two hippo characters in two different offices in our portfolio, they could differ slightly in price. It is much more effective for us to work with you and find out your specific needs in order to give you your custom pricing. We have created themed spaces at all levels from $5,000 to over $800,000. At Imagination Design Studios, there is something for everyone, and we happily work within your budget.

When considering the cost remember that the price of the theming is an investment into your business that will pay off with happier patients that will keep coming back. These dentists and office staff have experienced it firsthand:

“We were a brand new office – when we opened and had a full schedule within 6 months.”

– Amy, Office Manager

“When we first moved in, I had a goal of achieving $1.2m in revenue and we met that. This year, we are on target to achieve $2m in revenue and I credit the theming with bringing in that additional $800,000.”

– Dr. Jenni Burkitt, Owner

“In one year we’ve gone from a startup, to full-on busy. I’m sure we’ll have too many patients within 2 to 3 years.”

– Dr. Jed Snatic, Owner

2. How long does the build process take and will theming with IDS extend my build schedule?

Each office is unique and depending on the design, scope, and complexity of a project, the timeline can vary. That said, a typical office theming project with IDS takes 6 to 9 months from beginning to end – concept drawings to installation. (Much shorter if you are selecting pre-designed items from our catalog as we can bypass the design process and go straight into production.)

If you are building from the ground up, we will be one of the last teams to enter your space, after all the walls are up and painted, flooring is down, cabinets are in and finishes are complete.

In your build schedule, our installation typically accounts for less than a week.

3. Will I be kept in the loop on progress of my project?

We call the process The Five Steps from Mundane to Magical, and it includes regular updates from our team. Often, these will include photos of your custom theming props being produced on our shop floor, allowing you to follow along as your project comes to life.

“I felt like I really had a sense of what I was doing in my office. From the online meetings and the markups that explained everything from colors and foliage, to the 3D models of my characters, IDS really created a complete picture. I didn’t realize I was going to see my whole office before it was built. I was so excited to see every new email you sent.”

– Dr. Tim Verwest, Pediatric Dentistry of Fort Myers

4. Will the product hold up over time?

We love this question. IDS products are handmade by our experienced craftspeople and made with the care and materials required to meet our “kid-proof” standards.

Everything we create is built to the highest standards for quality and durability – something that is truly unmatched in the industry. In fact, we build our indoor props to the exact same standards as our exterior pieces which have – literally – endured tornados and hurricanes, and survived looking just as good as ever!

5. Can you work with my architect and interior designer?

The roles of your architect and interior designer remain unchanged – theming is more like the icing on the cake. Our job is to collaborate with your team to ensure that what we produce compliments and enhance the layout, finishes, colors, and other design decisions that have been made. Members of our staff – from sales, to CAD, to production – have backgrounds in interior design and can understand and communicate with your existing team.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth in the design of multiple dental facilities over a number of years. She represents IDS in both a comfortable and professional manner – and most importantly, we’ve had successful projects together! I highly recommend working with Elizabeth and the entire team at IDS (and look forward to doing so again.)”

– Tim Kuhlman, Architect at TkDesign Architecture

6. Do you have a sales rep come to visit my office?

Technology has enabled us to be very effective at working with our clients remotely, so a site visit is not necessary. We make sure to stay connected through online meetings, phone calls, e-mails, and plenty of in-progress photos and videos.

7. How do we know the murals and sculptures will fit in my space?

To make sure our pieces will fit in your space, one of our first orders of business is to convert your permitted plans into a digital 3D model of your office (we’ll be asking for the ‘reflected ceiling plans’ for this reason). From there, everything we design is done so in that 3D environment. This process not only ensures everything will fit perfectly but also gives you a great preview for how your theming elements will come together in your space.

If necessary, we will send a member of our team to measure your walls and get precise dimensions of your space. We call this a “dim check”. We may also ask that a member of your team confirm measurements for us.

8. Who does the installation?

For custom themed offices, our team arrives on-site the same day the product does. They manage everything from off-loading your props from the truck through to the final details of installation. You and your contractor don’t need to lift a finger.

If you are selecting pre-designed decor from our catalog instead of a custom office, these items are all designed to be easily installed by your general contractor or facilities manager.

9. How much extra space do I need for theming?

Ultimately, none. Theming with murals uses existing wall surfaces and requires no footprint at all. From there, many of our products, such as themed benches, bay dividers and kid-friendly brushing mirrors simply take the place of other essential furniture and decor items.

If you have space set aside for some extra fun, we can get even more creative. With as little as 25 dedicated square feet, we can add gaming, education stations, or a hand-sculpted character to your office that makes the perfect photo op for social media!

10. How much input do I have into the design?

Custom themed offices are exactly that – custom! We work closely with you to understand what you’d like the finished product to look like and how you want it to function. From there, our talented artists will begin by sketching concepts, allowing you to see your unique vision come life.

“I was pleased that IDS helped me right from day one and that the designers could take my ideas and run with them. They built a theme based on my own storybook and really brought my characters to life! The transformation of my practice has been wonderful. The kids love it, my staff loves it, and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much IDS!”

– Dr. Leslie Jacobs, DDS

FAQ: How Can IDS Help Solve Common Hospital Design Challenges

How Theming Creates the Ultimate Brand for Your Business

Interview with Dr. Karim Kanani – The Benefits of a Change in Atmosphere

Hear from Dr. Karim Kanani about how the atmosphere has changed in his offices since he added jungle and underwater themed murals and 3D from IDS.

My name is Dr. Karim Kanani I am co-owner of SmileTown Dentistry. We have 3 locations themed by IDS.

Our first office is a jungle themed office. We have added a lot of murals and 3D artwork. When the patients come into our location, they are immersed in a jungle themed environment, which is a very entertaining and non-threatening area, as opposed to a regular dental office.

Tour Through a Jungle Dental Office

Our second location is underwater themed. It is very calming. Kids are automatically put at ease once they first enter.

Tour Breathtaking Underwater Dental Office Decor

IDS: What do you feel the difference that this office theming has made on the atmosphere?

Dr. Kanani: Upon theming our office with IDS we realized the office atmosphere had changed a lot in terms of our patients. When they come into the office they were really amazed as to how the atmosphere had made it really friendly. By doing the theming from IDS we realized that it changed their attitude and their perception of what they see and feel when they come to a dental office.

IDS: Do you feel that the reaction of your patients when they come to you is a lot more easygoing now that you have theming?

Dr. Kanani: Yes, I feel like when the parents and the patients first enter into the office, they get a sense that this is not your regular dental office, it’s themed, it’s very fun and entertaining. So when they do meet me at the end of the hallway, they are already put into quite a relaxing mood.

IDS: Do you feel that your employees have gotten into the theme and enjoyed the work environment?

Dr. Kanani: Our employees love this space because it’s very relaxing for the patients. The colors are very vibrant so the kids feel like they’re in an amusement park and it really puts everyone into a good mood when they come into the office to get work done.

IDS: Has your practice increased in foot traffic or just from people hearing about the theme?

Dr. Kanani: I would say that the patient flow has increased quite a bit from people who are just walking by our office, as they do look inside. They see all the murals and the 3D artwork and they’re very curious as to what’s going on, so a lot of them will just come into the office directly and find out what this place is. At first, they think it’s an amusement park of some sort, but once they find out it’s a dental office for kids, they are quite surprised.

Reception area with amazing coral front desk that welcomes patients.

IDS: How do you feel about the quality of the product and the whole experience of dealing with IDS?

Dr. Kanani: Our experience with working with IDS has been excellent, they were a great source of knowledge in helping us design all our theming features, as well as the quality and craftsmanship of their work has been excellent. It’s very, very top-notch. All the murals, all the 3D artwork, it’s professionally done and we’re extremely happy with our product.

IDS: What’s your personal favorite part of your office?

Dr. Kanani: My personal favorite part of the underwater office would probably be the waiting area, where we have the 3D coral reef along with the windows and our mascot, the pug there, looks like it’s underwater. All the patients and parents come in and usually their first word is “wow!”. I like the “wow” factor.

In the jungle office we have a built-in theater room. We have kids movies running all day long. What this does is allows the kids to be in a relaxed environment as they’re waiting for their dental appointments and also again, put them at ease. The parents really love it too as well because they can have their other kids that are not being treated also relax in that area while their other kids are being treated.

Read the interview with Dr. Kanani’s business partner Dr. Karim Kanani to hear about the beach office they also built.

Dr. Kanani is an accomplished dentist. He has a passion for working with children and providing the best possible treatment in a professional and caring environment.

Case Study: Theming for Long-Term Impact Across 13+ Community Health Centers in Washington

Orange Conference Interview with IDS Creative Consultant Erin

Interview with Dr. Bill Martin

Whether Your Office is Big or Small, IDS Can Theme It All

No matter what size space you want to theme, the benefits of a kid-friendly space in dental or medical offices are always the same. Your practice will become more welcoming for young families, and the kids will have fun and be less anxious while in your care. Happy parents will rave about your office, and through their word-of-mouth advertising, more families will come looking for a similar experience.

Read on for a few ways to take your space from mundane to magical! Or skip to ideas for:

Themed Decor for a Small Office

For offices where space is a precious commodity, start your theming with wall murals. Murals are a great way to inject some fun into a space and require zero footprint to do so. Murals aren’t limited to just your walls; our colorful graphics can be applied to check-in counters, doors, cabinetry, windows, company vehicles, and more!

Check out this undersea office decor. It takes up no additional room than your normal cabinets and mirrors would.

Our custom murals are expertly curated to fit any space, taking any permanent fixture into consideration – light switches, outlets, doorways, etc. You’ll never have to worry about a cute character’s face being covered up by the thermostat!

And if you have no open wall space… don’t forget about your windows!

If you’d like to have some 3D elements in your office, but you’re worried about them taking up too much space, we recommend products like brushing mirrors or themed benches that replace their ‘regular’ counterparts. This combination results in an exciting office with zero extra space required.

If you’re looking for characters, a few smaller critters can fit into your normal decor and create a lot of humour. Like this thieving raccoon and peeping squirrel.

Do you have a smaller office space or a smaller budget? Why not download a PDF of our Product Guide and check out the budget-friendly products we have available in our Essentials Collection.

You’ll find examples of murals, brushing mirrors, benches and more in our 6 most popular themes, including jungle, underwater, safari, beach, woodland, and space.

Themed Decor for a Medium Office

If you’ve got a little more room to play, your options open up even more. In addition to our recommendations for a smaller office, themed kid’s corners and play areas are among our most popular designs. You can add in some gaming stations for a variety of ages, while creating “share-worthy” photo ops that are a perfect addition to your social media feed. These extras can really enhance the experience kids have while visiting your office.

Depending on your location and exterior space available, you could also consider a character sitting on a bench outside of your practice. Our designs are built to last and can withstand outdoor elements, no matter your geographical location, from snowy winters to sunny summers.

Exterior photo ops make for great landmarks, which not only saves space inside, but also helps make your practice easier to find from the outside. Inquisitive passers-by will likely wander into your practice, curious to know more about the services you offer.

Themed Decor for a Large Office

If you are lucky enough to have a large space, this is where the IDS team can really roll up their sleeves and help you create an unforgettable experience for your patients. As your patients move from the front of the office to the back, we can help you to enhance your theme and tell a story that keeps them engaged throughout their entire visit.

With more space comes more opportunities to get creative with your theming, such as a large-scale sculpture in your waiting area, or 3D cladding for your front desk.

You can add theming elements like ceiling characters to your treatment rooms and open bay, or deck out your waiting area with cladded benches or characters “waiting” for their own appointments. The trick is creating a space that isn’t just a room with a TV, but a secret world created just for your younger patients.

Theater rooms are also popular to keep kids occupied for longer, especially when waiting for a sibling to finish their appointment. They can be fun and educational areas.

Big or small, theming can help you to squeeze extra value out of your physical space. Our clients often describe it as a win-win-win investment – patients and their families have more fun while in your care, staff report that appointments are easier and they enjoy working in a unique environment, and the space helps to fuel positive reviews from parents which helps to accelerate the growth of the practice.

IDS is committed to helping you invest in the future success of your practice. The only question is, what kind of themed office decor can we create for you?

5 Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Office Photo Op

With social media playing an ever more critical role in marketing, it’s no surprise that photo ops are becoming a trend in clinic waiting rooms the world over. It’s a great dental office promotion idea for using your physical office space to drive social media activity (like posts and shares) and can really help a practice gain organic traction in the online parent community.

5 Key Tips to Maximize Your Dental Office’s Social Media Photo Ops

1. Make Sure Your Dental Office Photo Op is ‘Share-Worthy’

Parents are always on the lookout for the next moment that will produce an eye-catching, adorable photo of their little ones. Make sure that your photo op features vibrant colors and something that will really make kids smile. It’s all about curating that perfect social media moment.

A person takes a photo with a phone of two children sitting next to large colorful statues of a crocodile and a hippo reading a book, by a window with parked cars outside, showcasing playful elements of children’s library interior design.

2. Create a “Subtle Brag” for Parent Engagement on Social Media

Beyond the adorable moment, parents are secretly looking for the opportunity for a subtle brag. For example, “Look at how much fun my kid had at the dentist… Oh, and no cavities!”

To play into this desire, add some props to the scene that allow kids to proudly advertise ‘Cavity-Free Today!’, ‘Had a Great Appointment!’, or ‘I was Brave Today!’.

If you’re an optometrist, try a sign that says ‘New Glasses Day!’ or ‘My First Pair of Glasses!’.

If you’re a doctor, ‘I Was Vaccinated Today!’, ‘I Got a Shot Today!’, or ‘I’m All Better!

3. Integrating Your Brand into Dental Office Photo Opportunities

You get the most marketing value from a photo being posted to social media if those who see it know where it was taken. We suggest a combination of two things: your medical or dental office logo subtly included in the scene somewhere – it can be incorporated in the background scene, on a signpost that’s in the shot, or perhaps on the t-shirt of the photo op character. Next, utilize hashtags and encourage parents to tag your office when they post the picture. Make this easy on them by ensuring your hashtags and social media handles are easy to find and are included on any take-home paperwork they may receive.

4. Boost Engagement with a Social Media Contest in Your Dental Office

One of the best ways to nurture parent-driven activity online is to run a contest. Weave this together with your photo op by allowing the posting of the photo as entry into the contest. Use a unique hashtag to easily identify entries online and make your prize something family-focused such as passes to a local amusement park or a family picnic prize pack.

One thing to note here – not every parent will be open to posting photos of their kids on social media, so be sure to supplement the above with an offline entry ballot as well. This way parents have the opportunity to enter without being ‘forced’ to post pics of their kids online.

5. Keeping Dental Office Photo Ops Fresh with Seasonal Updates

Parents don’t want to look like they are posting the same photo more than once, which is why you’ll need to put some thought into keeping your photo op current. It can be as simple as adding some seasonal props like a Santa hat on your character or adding some pumpkins and cobwebs around Halloween. The trick is to make the photo op reflect what’s current now.
